Kate has worked in affordable housing development, policy and planning for more than 25 years, with a particular focus on public housing revitalization. She currently oversees public housing and housing choice voucher programs that provide affordable housing for over 50,000 people both in and around the City of Boston.

Katie wraps up her conversation with ChangeMaker, David Kirk, a Professor of Sociology and Professorial Fellow of Nuffield College at the University of Oxford. In part two, David talks about how he first get involved in researching affordable housing, the common barriers to housing with persons with criminal records, and the biggest differences between housing in the U.S. and in Europe.
