Changing our Hearts 

Series: Audacious Prayer

Jesus talks a lot about prayer. Most of what he teaches is not about what to pray, but rather, about how to pray. And his first lesson is to pray boldly and persistently. Mostly, when we think about praying boldly, we think about changing our circumstances (our health, relationships, jobs etc). In today’s lesson from the life of King David, we see that one of the most important bold and audacious prayers we can pray is “create in me a clean heart”..

Questions to reflect on and discuss from this message:

1. “The hardest person in the world to lead is yourself” … do you agree or disagree with this statement?

2. How often are your prayers directed to what’s happening in your heart vs what’s happening in the world around you?

3. What breakthroughs could be possible in your life if you prayed more boldly for God to change you from the inside out?

5. Let’s pray for each other now … boldly!
