Katya Veleva [00:00:00] Hello, my name is Katya Veleva and this is Changing the Atmosphere, a podcast about change-makers and how they did it.
Every couple of weeks, I'll be speaking to someone who has been involved in creating change. I will help them break down their process and hopefully together will be able to demonstrate that change doesn't have to be this elusive and inaccessible thing, but very much something that you, yes, you can also do.
To help the information digestion, I'll be creating an illustration for each conversation. Apparently, the majority of people are visual and I myself am no exception. If I can connect the information to an image, it helps me retain it. If this happens to be a cutesy illustration, I may even be tricked into believing that whatever we're referring to is actually child's play. In those first six episodes, we have already had some brilliant insight.
Danielle F [00:01:15] The minute I walked into the room, something happened to me that never really happened in my career, which is I lost my confidence, and people that know me still don't believe it happened.
Ellen Jones [00:01:25] There's something also to be said about being one of the first people to do something. That is the reason I was successful, and I think that's why skill is not always the I am someone who has the best technical abilities.
Alex G [00:01:39] You know, usually those sort of projects I'm involved with, they went by the time we finished them. It's almost the next generation who really gets the benefit of them. So actually, we're not really necessarily just planning for ourselves. We should really be looking at who's following in our footsteps.
Katya Veleva [00:02:04] Do enjoy the conversations. Thank you for listening and keep changing the atmosphere.
