Albert Hawkins served as Executive Commisioner  of Health and Human Services of Texas under Governor Rick Perry. In this episode he discusses his career in Health and Human Services, what is under of Health and Human Services umbrella, his thoughts on the pandemic, and his views on working in the private versus public sector. 

For this edition of our Alumni Spotlight, get to know UT Black Alum Carlton Dixon, founder of Reveal Suits. Carlton was a member of the Texas Longhorn Basketball team from 1994 - 1998 and graduated from UT with a degree in Speech and communication. In 2016, Carlton started Reveal Suits, specializing in upscale Officially-Licensed custom suits and blazers for both men and women. Over the years, Carlton has been able to grow his company, securing partnerships with several organizations including the NFL, the Big 12, and more recently, the Texas Longhorns.

In this episode, hear about Carlton’s journey to success, including his multiple attempts to secure a partnership with UT, his thoughts on his time at Texas, his thoughts on the Eyes of Texas, and more!
