This episode is not a tech episode. Our friend, Ning, went to a trip to Everest Base Camp. One of those 100-things-you-should-do-before-you-die. Ning obviously bought that and came back somewhat disappointed. Well, it was not the scene, it was a lot more to do with what you don't see in those beautiful pictures but you have to endure the experience. All photos are taken by Mr. Vitidnan Rojanapanich.

3D printing is generally considered the next big thing and has become affordable in the last few years. Minockio is a Thai company that tries to capitalize on the technology, offering 3D animation model based on each individual character. A customer can select all appearances for his or her model of choice and add his or her face as a base for the model. 2013 must be a record year for the number of Thais visiting Japan. Hokkaido is becoming one of the most popular destinations among Thais, so we invited Vasin Permsup, who had direct experience with Hokkaido; his favorite Japan destination. Vasin Permsup, if you could not remember, was the owner of the Provision publishing company, having DPlus as a sub-brand for travel section. Having heard about her musical talent for playing thai dulcimer for some time and there would be a mini-concert by her and @iPattt of iHear Band, so we invited her over to share her story how she achieved her talent. We also learnt that she was a Ph.D of mechanical engineering from Carnegie Melllon Univeristy, amazing, eh! Kangg, Siampod.com, launched a mobile app, VideOH, in August this year after a year in development. We asked him to share his experience during the time. We also invited Jul from Digitopolis Studio to share his experience. Digitopolis Studio was a mobile app developer who produced several mobile apps in Thailand. It was a very valuable experience to hear from both sides of the story.

It's been a long time since we recorded an episode with the iHear Band, the musical wedding band specialist. The previously recorded episodes were very much about the protocol; what a traditional wedding reception was like in Thailand. This time around, they came to share some funny and unexpected events that happened in wedding receptions and after parties. They were hilarious.

Dr. Jay Jootar, the chairman and founder of the VC Group, shared his experience how he came about to form the company and its products. It's an interesting story of how a Thai company managed to get some foreign angel investor funding in Thailand. And it was not a typical investor, either, it was Foxconn, well-known for its Apple-manufacturing base. Sorry for the video production of this podcast, the producer was too pre-occupied with the pre-production to setup the camera properly.

We joined Unique Running at Ayudhaya on November 25, 2012, to find out that the whole event was organized by people who worked at the advertising agency Dai-Ichi Kikaku (Thailand). They organized three running events a year; Ayudhaya, Khaoyai and Sukothai. What was so amazing was the fact that they were doing these as part of their office workloads. They shared their experience in learning how to organize running events and lessons learnt along the way. There would be a half-marathon running event on March 3, 2013.
