Lady driver for a change. Yut and Aey found an owner who just refurnished the whole car. It was in superb condition. On this episode, we discussed how she acquired the car and how she got interested in Beetle.

Aey has been suffering from heat for the last few months, his beetle's air-conditioning was not working. So Yut and Aey revisited the old topic of installing air-conditioning in beetle; pros and cons and some ideas.

Alloy wheels and Beetles. The two provided quite a few recommendations and comments when ones consider changing to alloy wheels. There were quite a few lessons here, for example, the problem when ones had to face when changing to 17-inch wheels, such as a much bigger steering curve, requirement of a bigger engine.

One of the oldest, if not the oldest, annual automobile exhibitions in the country, this is the Thiland Motor Show. And the most favourite event for Aey's is the car rally. This is a nostalgic episode, Yut and Aey told the story about how the events were like in the old days.

You really have to admire these two, who can really find a topic to talk about. This time they talked about engine oil that they used for their VWs, and their recommendation in selecting one. One thing that really stood out from their discussion was that they really shared their experiences and they were all first-hand. Bear in mind, though, that this was really their personal opinions, rather than proper lab testing results.

Browsing through various webboards, a pattern emerged, the common question seemed to be that what should be taken into consideration when acquiring a VW. Yut and Aey recommended a few tips, what to look for and pitfalss for new VW fanatics.

This was a summary of the VW event on Satruday February 27, at Wonderland. It was a very enjoyable event for the VW fanatics. There were a few fun competition, and flea markets for VW parts. Too bad, our camera did not work properly, so we could not show you the picture, but we summarized the whole event here.

As promised, this was the audio recording from the event on Saturday January 27, 2007 by the Bangkok Classic fair (http://www.bangkokclassiccar.com). The duo were invited to conduct a program on stage. They, along with khun Ake (from the Bangkok Classic team), dicussed about classic car lovers in general, what habits they had in commmon, etc. We also put the VDO on our site, it was a huge file, 220MB, so we decided to put just the audio file in here. Well, things did not turned out as planned. Yes, we did go to the Bangkok Classic fair but, due to technical reason, we could not produce the VDO tape in time. Hopefully, we could show you the tape next week. As for this week, we had some news about up-and-coming events. One of guests, Aod, would be organizing a meeting on Saturday February 10 for VW near Buddha Monthon area and the annual VW gathering event at the end of February.
