America’s connectivity gaps were realized, but not caused by, the COVID-19 pandemic. Remote work and home offices overloaded networks everywhere and millions of Americans simply couldn’t connect.  It’s clear that our economic competitiveness relies on reliable access to high-speed internet and it’s also clear that America has some ground to cover.  Together with our partners at CommScope, we launched the Million Feet of Cable Challenge. We have called upon partners and technology integrators across America to help us ship and deploy a million feet of cable by the end of 2020.
