I laughed as I edited this episode. The pain that I am here to transform in my life that becomes a healing gift for others (Chiron) involves communication (Gemini) within groups (the 11th House). I am literally doing it with this podcast. The more I record and share my story with you, the more I edit and listen back, the more opportunity I have to get better at communicating and become a master at storytelling. Which is a BIG part of my my purpose in life (as seen through the lens of Astrology). 

What a gift to be able to view my work and creative expression in this way. Rather than what I used to do, which was 'self-doubt-all-over-myself.' I'm putting in my 10,000 hours of mastery!

The intent of this episode was to share with you a placement of my personal astrology chart, Chiron in Gemini in the 11th House. I share so much more than that, including the most painful and wonderful revelation of my 2021 so far, which has been a deep understanding of the Gemini-Sagittarius axis 'knowledge vs wisdom' and how that has informed my work. Helping me draw on my Leo-lion courage to step fully into my way and my voice and my unique point of view and expression of how I 'do' astrology - which, if you noticed the change of podcast name, I call 'Channeled Astrology™'. This is a taste of that ah-ha and story so far. Plus a look into why you'll love exploring your astrology chart through 'Your Purpose & Power of 3 in your Astrology' sessions with me. Enjoy!

Finance, art, self-esteem… NONE of these come naturally to me!!!  

What a revelation to realise that all the struggles I’ve had in those areas of life are nothing to be ashamed of. I literally didn’t come into this life with those skills. The beautiful thing is the universe has gifted me the energy to develop them through the North and South nodes. What a wonderful offering from Astrology.  

For me, what I've seen in this placement about the North Node and South Node in the birth chart is the gifts I was born with, which requires a decision on what to use and what to let go of (South Node); and what the gifts I'm here to expand into should be (North Node). It's a short-cut to what I've needed to evolve.

The other nugget of gold (from Jan Spiller's book 'Astrology of the Soul') offered me through this placement was this: take one step at a time, not giant leaps. Especially with finances! 

HOLY.SHIZ. This was exactly the answer as to why I had been going around in circles in my business. I was always trying to force the giant leap. That’s not how life was designed to be magical for me. My magic is in taking a step, and seeing what is revealed.  

I share these stories and more with you, because I believe when we share our stories we heal each other, because in each other we see ourselves.  

Astrology has helped reveal my own story to me.

Hello beautifuls!  Amanda here, sharing my story through the lens of Astrology.

Finding the courage to take what you’ve learned and sharing it out into the world is one thing. Finding the courage to take what you’ve learned to inform how you create a totally unique methodology, created from your own perspective, and then taking it out into the world? Eeeek!!! Understanding the difference between the two has been a big part of my souls lesson this last year.  

In this episode I explore how I came to that revelation through working with my astrology chart. You’ll hear how my Practice with Astrology™ - ie: incorporating using astrology in my everyday life - led me to my gifts of channeling, and to form my own methodology that I call Channeled Astrology™.

Hi, I'm Amanda Vodic. This is my story through the lens of Astrology.

This episode is like a woman recounting how she fell in love. In this case, how I fell in love with Astrology.  We met at a time when my identity was completely wrapped up in my 'job title' - to my own detriment. 

Astrology showed me the aspects of my own nature that kept 'tripping me up' and 'sending me in circles', much of which pointed squarely at my five planets in the zodiac sign of Capricorn. Obsessed with 'what I wanted to be when I grew up'? TICK! My childhood journals are full of trying to pick the thing I was going to be for the rest of my life. Throw in a quintessential Saturn return where I quit my 'perfect job' and started a business, my life has been a Capricorn fueled whirlwind! 

Astrology opened me up to begin the next layer of the Capricorn evolution - questioning the true definition of 'success' and connecting success in to something deeper. Here's part of the story so far.

Throughout you'll hear how I am developing my personal Practice with Astrology™ and the types of Astrology filled voicemails I leave my friends!

Astrology has changed my life. Mic drop. Period. Exclamation Mark. While Design your life with Astrology is a creative exploration of all things astrology, it is also a diary of my birth as an astrologer and a transparent depiction of my evolving Practice with Astrology ('Me' being your host, Amanda!).

All creative births are a process. As are all personal transformations. Mine just so happens to be midwifed by Astrology. This is my gift as an Astrology Doula for other artists, creatives, explorers and entrepreneurs.
