Hi guys, it's Little Chomp. There's no good way to tell you this, but we're going on hiatus. Lio and I both need a break from the emotional weight of this game, and we're gonna re-evaluate stuff in a month or two. Thanks for all the support- it means more to me than you know.
This episode is raw and unedited, so it may be rambly or circular at some points. I'm sorry about that. It's just... the way it needed to be.
Hopefully, I'll see you around again.

Here’s the next part of Shoota’s backstory from Lio’s game before our campaign started. We’re gonna push through the story before returning to our regular content, but don’t worry- I’ll keep labeling and tagging everything so you can find the content you want.

I mentioned earlier that Shoota Amano was Lio's pc from a game that he played before our campaign, and because of what happened to him, I want to take some time to share his story with you. Lio gave me the text of his story about the game, and I'm going to read it like an audiobook. I hope you enjoy. <3

As a thank you for listening, I've compiled a collection of moments that I had to cut from the podcast, but wanted to keep anyway. I post these for my friends to chuckle at, and now I'm sharing them with you. This week, we have outtakes from sessions 17, 18A, and 18B. Enjoy!

After a strange but successful date, Shelbie heads home with Wispmon and Black Gemmon X to get some sleep. Tomorrow will come with its own headaches- the NOT date with Isobei that suddenly feels WRONG somehow, the impromptu meetup with her family, Polio’s secret message, and of course WORK, since it’s a Monday. But really, how hard could it be to juggle THAT stuff?

After everything that’s happened today, Shelbie’s nearly flooded. An attacker in her apartment. Takashi telling her to leave the family. Finding out there’s another Vex concert tonight. Meeting up with Toujiro for their date. Her dad calling on repeat before the party. And now, Polio talking with Wispy in the hallway after stealing $15,000 from her and taking Sangomon away. And it’s not even 8 pm yet.

Life obligations and scheduling have been getting in our way lately, so I asked Lio to record a character profile with me. Unfortunately, things are a little complicated when it comes to backstories and secrets. Fortunately, I learn that FRIENDS has been playing in the background of our entire game, which character Shelbie is in The IT Crowd, and get a chance to talk about why things have turned out like this with Toujiro and Isobei.

This is an actual play ttrpg show made by two friends- Lio homebrewed the system mechanics from various Digimon media, and Chomp produces the show. Our campaign is story-heavy and character-driven,…
