Chapel Service

May 3, 2023 | Looking at John 7:37–52, Mike Crouch asks us to "consider the source" of our hope and truth. Are you living according to God's Word or are you seeking purpose elsewhere?

April 26, 2023 | Ross McGregor guest speaks during our Chapel Service on the topic of "Joy That Comes From Forgiveness." Studying the text of Psalm 32:1–11, we see how beneficial the forgiveness God offers us really is. More than just being given a free pass, God's forgiveness is full of ongoing blessings which we can revel in.

April 19, 2023 | Mike Crouch teaches from John 7:14–36 as we look at the response to Jesus' speaking at a feast. Some thought he was crazy, while others thought He was engaging in blasphemy. How will you respond to Jesus' claim to be the Son of God?

April 12, 2023 | Mike Crouch walks us through John 7:1–13. Looking at this episode of Jesus' life, we see that different people had different opinions of Jesus. Even some of His own family members doubted His mission. How will we react to the truth of who Jesus is?

April 5, 2023 | Mike Crouch continues walking us through John 6, focusing on the "Sifting of the Saints" in John 6:60–71. In this section, Jesus' disciples must come to understand what it means to follow Jesus and accept who He is. Just like them, we have to make a decision about how we are going to respond to the teaching of Jesus.

March 29, 2023 | Mike Crouch teaches through John 6:41-58 as we talk about "receiving the true bread of life." In order to enjoy the satisfaction which comes through Jesus, we must receive Him and live a life reflecting what He teaches. Jesus is the Bread of Life, where we find our ultimate nourishment and purpose.

March 22, 2023 | Mike Crouch teaches through John 6:25–40 as we focus on how "Seeing Isn't Always Believing." Jesus was asked for a sign to prove He was the messiah, but there was no lack of signs pointing to who He was. Sometimes we are only willing to believe what fits our preconceived notions or we refuse to acknowledge a truth which challenges us.

March 8, 2023 | Mike Crouch walks us through John 6:16–25 to show how "Christ Enters Our Crises." The disciples had just witnessed Jesus' miraculous power in feeding the five thousand, but now they faced a storm in the sea and witnessed Jesus walking on the water. Using this text, we'll see how God interacts with us when we are afraid.

March 1, 2023 | Daren Davis serves as guest speaker during Missions Weeks at Bellevue. Drawing from his experience as a missionary in Africa and the text of Acts 1:3–11, Daren talks about the mission and vision God has given us.

February 22, 2023 | Mike Crouch teaches out of John 6:1–15 as we cover the feeding of the five thousand.
