    Hillsborough Mayor Mark Bell spoke with 97.9 The Hill’s Andrew Stuckey on Tuesday, January 27, discussing town news and events.     Tom’s in a snowy New York and Aaron’s in an icy Chapel Hill, but they can still talk politics – in this case, the chances of the Democrats retaking a Senate majority this year. Tom says it’ll be a tall order, but the Democrats have a very real chance – with strong opportunities to pick up seats in North Carolina and Maine, and better-than-you’d-think shots in Ohio and Alaska, where popular Democratic candidates could overcome a heavy GOP lean among the electorate. (Also, Tom discusses what we know so far about the public’s overall response to the ongoing situation in Minneapolis, where ICE agents have now killed two demonstrators.)
