The Diva interviews independent music artist, Nedy.

age 14, Nedy began playing guitar and throughout the years picked up the piano and drums. At age 22, after many years of unsuccessful attempts to begin a band, Nedy decided to learn how to sing in order to make her dreams of a successful music career possible. In 2012, Nedy release her first EP titled Got Music. In July 2017, Nedy released her single titled, "All Coming Down" which was put on rotation on Napa Valley's 99.3 The Vine FM and 89.5 Ozcat Radio FM. Her latest Music Video and EP was premiered on June 25th and can be found on iTunes, Spotify, iheartradio, and more!

Her single and EP is currently on rotation on The Vine.

Nedy is currently preparing to go on tour this summer with The Extreme Tour.

She was born Bianca Johnson in the fall of 1989, grew up in Charleston, South Carolina. She has always had a love for reading. Instead of playing outside with the other children, she could always be found with her head buried in a book somewhere. She enjoyed the magical adventures her books took her on every time she turned the pages. When she was eleven years old, she was urged to pursue writing as a career choice by her fifth-grade teacher. Blaque Diamond always wrote poetry and children’s stories as a hobby, and also as a form of therapy. She did not have an easy-going childhood, so writing was her way of escaping her harsh reality. Her teacher took note of her ability to tell a story and encouraged her to explore and develop her skills more. To Blaque Diamond, writing was her only way to express what she felt inside without saying exactly what was on her mind. Writing poetic proses and creative stories allowed her to make her voice heard through her own words.

Vera Harris, called "Sister" by her family, enjoys spending time with her family, traveling,

reading, listening to various types of music, and working in her church. After retiring from

the U. S. Army, a deployment that included eighteen months in Iraq, Vera now lives in East

Texas and was inspired by her grandson to write her first children's book. Her fourth book,

Monica and Michelle Travel the World was released April 2018. Her books can be purchased on
