What you don't know can hurt you, especially when it comes to God, Word, Will, and Ways.

Because Jesus is the Master of Nature, He can also be the Master of our Fears if we allow Him to be!

The Psalmist fell over himself trying to describe how God is different than wicked humanity in Psalm 36. He did well, but because he, too, is human, his words fall short of God’s true glory. 

As great and wonderful as the Psalmist said God is, the amazing thing is that God is even greater. What that means for us is that God is willing, able, and qualified to bless us beyond measure, and He will never stop loving us. 

Thank God today for His love and care in our lives. Learn to rest in Him and receive His glorious blessings!

John and the people gathered at the river when Jesus was baptized got more than they bargained for. The same can be true for us today!

Christmas is the gift that keeps on giving. Because of Christ, we receive life, relationship, spiritual gifts, and the whole world from God. The question is, do we give as good as we receive?

Christmas is many things to us in the 21st Century, but to the writer of Hebrews, Christmas is Christ!

This Christmas, we should consider the witness of our family as compared to the Holy Family. 

- Are we righteous like this family?

- Is our faith as strong as in this family?

- Is our obedience as ready as in this family?

- Is our walk with God as close as in this family?

While we are all ordinary people, we serve an extraordinary God. This was revealed in the lives Mary and Joseph and God stands ready to do it in our lives also, if we would just let Him!

John the Baptist was serious about preparing for the coming of Christ. How serious are we?

Pilots must decide before they takeoff what they will do if an emergency happens; we also must decide before a crisis occurs what we will do in our daily walk with God.  The best answer is to exercise our faith and trust in Him. It is the only way to provide for our success and the only way to glorify Him!

Davids’ last words were spoken in praise of His God and Ours. Who will we be praising with our last breaths?
