Ok, let’s move!
No really, move it GirlFriend. Because NOT moving is NOT an option.
In this week’s episode of the MIND BODY BARE Podcast, Susan and I get hot and sweaty. Not exactly. But we do talk about sweat and pee and how anything goes when it comes to moving your body.
We were surprised to learn from each other that neither Susan nor I had healthy role models when we were younger. There was no one to model for us what it looked like to move your body in a way that was good for both one’s mental and physical health. I used to beat myself up with exercise – the more punishing, the better. Susan, on the other hand, avoided sweat at all costs.
Excuse the blur! There were moments we were laughing so hard during the recording of Episode 4 it was difficult to capture a clear screenshot. I think this image captures us when Susan was telling her “pee story.”
Beware What Your Mind Tries To Tell You
Too often we confuse what our minds are telling us with what our bodies actually need. We may think we need to “rest,” but if your body is telling you otherwise, your body wins.
We hope you will feel inspired to listen to your body – you can be sure that it will let you know when it likes the way you’re moving it!
Ok, now listen UP. Click the podcast player up there, at the top of this page.
