Let’s go in your mind!
Do you have “repeat offenders”? Those are the kind of thoughts that pop into your mind and wreak havoc… without your permission.
It’s what happens when you lose control of what your mind is allowed to think.
Because, as the thinker of your thoughts, YOU are in charge of what’s going on up there in your noggin. Trouble is, when we allow our minds to be in charge, well… there’s trouble. BIG trouble. Because some of those thoughts have had a lot of practice at bringing us down. They’re old and kinda smelly and when we’re not paying attention, they can really mess things up for us.
When a thought pops into my head that I don’t like, I like to channel my inner lawyer and yell, “I OBJECT!” Susan yells “NOT TODAY SATAN.” Either way, you never have to listen to what your mind is saying. And sometimes, it needs a swift kick in the ass.
In this week’s episode of the MIND BODY BARE Podcast, Susan and I go rummaging through your mind (and ours) to help you find those repeat offenders and kick them to the curb.
Why is this important? Because everything you have in your life started with a thought. And that thought grew into a belief that ultimately became your reality. Everything you see on the outside of your life is a reflection of what’s going on on the inside of your mind.
THOUGHTS REALLY DO BECOME THINGS!
Left unattended, our minds can hurt us emotionally and physically and create outcomes we don’t even want.
This is arguably the most important chapter of BARE, because it goes to the heart of your peace of mind and whether you’re protecting that peace. So get ready to kick your lousy stinkin’ thoughts out the door, ’cause they ain’t welcome anymore!
