This is the 6th chapter of the book My Journey transforming dreams into actions written by APJ ABDUL KALAM. In this chapter Kalam tell about his first mentor : Ahmed Jalalluddin who later become his brother in law. How they met, how they become friends, how Jalalluddin encouraged him for higher education in larger town. In this chapter Kalam shared all about his mentor and his relationship. He said from Jalalluddin he learnt that , "every human carries something special within himself." When Ahmed Jalalluddin died . It was a very tough time for kalam . Kalam thanks his mentor and friend Ahmed Jalalluddin for changed and shaped his thoughts.
