Even a seasoned prostitute knows their value and refuses to accept any amount that falls below their self-declared worth. Perhaps Joker makes the most informed and telling statement in The Dark Knight when he tells the local band of gangster miscreants to never do something for free if, in fact, you are good at it. Maybe he is to be dismissed as a disgruntled clown... or maybe he is onto something topical. All will be explained along with a cornucopia of quotes and movie references.
