Srpouhi Dussap (1840–1901) was an Armenian feminist writer and the first female novelist in Armenian literature. Her groundbreaking novel Mayda (1883) was the first novel written by an Armenian woman, followed by Siranush and Araksia, all exploring the social and economic limitations faced by women.
