This study begins with the church in Sardis which was an important trade route that ran east to west through the kingdom of Lydia, and was a center of pagan worship and site of a temple of Artemis. Also in this study is the church in Philadelphia which was known for its agricultural products and was affected with earthquakes which destroyed the city several times.

Pastor Bill starts our series with an explanation of the four camps which are represented in this book, how the allegorical method is used for its understanding and why John wrote this book. He then begins Chapter One teaching us the style this book is written in and why it was written that way.

Jude, written by the half-brother of Jesus, has a very dynamic writing style and uses many figures of speech as he, like John, warns about the dangers of false teachings. Jude proceeds to sound an exhortation to his readers to content for the faith!
