Serena Williams said “A Champion is not defined by their wins, but how they recover when they fall.” The Word of God tells us in Romans 3:23 that, “We have all sinned and FALL short of the glory of God.” In this episode, Josh and I are going to get real and raw with some falls we have had. But in true Jesus fashion, whether we were aware in the moment or not, He was right there, guiding, directing, and helping us to turn our defeated days into championship seasons.

In this episode, we are going to invite you into our living room, where we talk through how dreams, specifically this dream, of being amateur podcasters became a reality, and what we hope to charge you to champion in this season of Charge the Champion. 

A wise mentor of mine once said "History will be kind to me, because by the grace of God, I will write it." In season 1 of Charge the Champion we are going to be reliving some of the most defining moments of our childhood, adolescence, marriage and our lives. We will discuss how God has given each of us the ability to live each day intentionally and on purpose despite the ever-changing or seemingly never changing circumstances around us. So, together, let's pause, take a look back, and use our individual histories to move forward and charge the champion in you to make the next chapter of your life the best one yet.
