There's an energy to what you charge and it is important to understand it. When your worth is tied up in your fee, there's usually a problem.
People have so many money blocks and issues. This gets in the way for many people. The awareness will help you evolve with what you're charging and with growing your business.
We grew up thinking it was bad to talk about money. We have to realize that having more conversations about this is what helps it shift. Where are your money beliefs coming from?
Do you value your own services? Do you realize that if you don't charge what you're worth, you're disempowering people. If people invest in themselves they are motivated to take action. If they don't have skin in the game, they won't.
How do you come up with what you charge for your services? What's your hour worth? Compare to others and start somewhere? Then beyond that hour, what is the amount of energy, resources and other things you're putting into the service? What would that be worth. That has to be added.
A monthly retainer is a great idea to make sure you have regular cash flow.
If your self-worth is tied to your fee, there's work you need to do first. Money has no value except the value we put on it. How much is your donkey worth?
Getting what you're worth is about selling to the right people. If excuses come up, you're probably not selling to the right people. Think about the one-call close.
