Welcome back to another Friday episode of Charger Chat. We kick it off by going over the NFL Top 100. We’ve got some boys on the list this year. We follow it up by welcoming on a friend and Chargers Unleashed Podcast host Jake Hefner. We get into what we liked from training camp and who are some guys to keep your eye on for breakout performances this year. Kevin’s dumb question of the week is if you and your co-host were Top Gun pilots, who would you be and why? We then head to Coach’s Classroom. Kyle breaks down our first pre season game with an emphasis on our defense.

It’s official, our first game under Brandon Staley is in the books and we got the W. People are saying the expectations for this team are too high. But this new defense exceeded even those projections. Is this what we’ve been missing this whole time? We get into the first pre season game and go over some of the position battles. We look at the injury report after the game and our first cuts to the roster. Coach looks at quarterback cadences and their significance in Coach’s Corner. We head to the beach to meet our surfer bra Daniel Lewallen for our Fan Focus. Craig looks at the preseason game and specifically how much better this defense is. We are back with our 100th Episode! Coach Kyle reports back on Fan Fest and his experience. We look at the kicking competition and how important it is to our team and fans. The season ticket sales are out and man are they impressive. Kyle breaks down the significance of a safety making the calls on the field in Coach’s Corner. We head to New York to meet Barrett for our Fan Focus. The Craig Experience looks at the battles around training camp. We then head over to Ask Boltfam for some amazing questions. The first couple days of training camp are in the books. We take a look at our teams vaccination rates and how that can effect the season. Training Camp has arrived and Charger fans all over the world rejoice, football is back. We discuss what an NFL training camp schedule looks like. Mike Williams has a new fresh look for a new fresh season. We look at an interview between Cam Jordan and Keenan Allen, some explosive comments were made. Coach’s Corner dives into how players respond to motivational messages like “Our way”. Another jam packed Tuesday episode for our Charger Chat family. We start off with the new Youtube series “Between Two Kegs” featuring Shawne “Lights Out” Merriman as he interviews current Chargers. The first interview features our very own Derwin James. We follow that up by looking at the mini bomb that was dropped on a Golf Course when a fellow Charger fan told Patrick Mahomes to “watch out for Justin Herbert”. His reaction was an ill advised shot at our boy. Coach’s Corner looks at how locker rooms react to opponents talking trash. We then head to Fan Focus where we were lucky enough to track down Austen, the man the myth the legend that told Patrick Mahomes to look out for our boy. We get into how it all went down then find out more about his Charger fandom. We wrap this bad boy up with some hilarious Ask Boltfam questions.
