In part two of our message on wisdom, we will see how we as believers in Christ can get wisdom and get understanding in our lives. We learned in the first part of this two part message that wisdom is the principal thing, the highest priority, and it begins with the fear of the Lord. As everything in scripture, wisdom is no different, it points to our Lord Jesus. Wisdom not only points to Jesus, wewill be reminded in this message that Jesus has been made unto us wisdom itself.

Proverbs 4:7 tells us that wisdom is the most important thing to get when it comes to our life. Wisdom isnot knowledge. Wisdom doesn’t come from simply growing older. Wisdom comes from God, and He is the source of it. Proverbs 8:22 tells us that the Lord formed wisdom from the beginning, before He created anything else. Psalm 111:10 tells us the starting point for wisdom is the fear (worshipful reverence) ofthe Lord. The beautiful thing about wisdom is that it is available to us freely through God’s abundant grace. Hewants us to embrace wisdom and the best way we can do that is to embrace Jesus. According to 1 Corinthians 1:31, Jesus was made to be wisdom itself.

The book of Ephesians is powerful, and unveils the victorious church. The Father had this plan from the beginning: Jesus Christ came and executed it, and the Holy Spirit reveals it to us; and by His Power, enables us to walk in it. Be edified and come alive in Him as we study through the Book of Ephesians.
