I'm diving into the topic of 'charismatic' Christianity -- because the same way I claim that ex-new agers are drawn to institutions or cessationism as an over-correction from their life of new age deception, I also see claims that we (ex-new agers) are actually drawn to 'charismatic' Christianity because we are simply chasing another spiritual high or emotional experience the way we used to. My goal is to debunk that claim, biblically and historically! Explaining why, despite that I disagree with labeling anyone a 'charismatic,' if we HAVE to use a label, charismatic Christianity IS, in fact, biblical Christianity that we not only saw practiced in Scripture but in the earliest church before politicization quenched the Spirit.
