You’ve heard it before, it is better to give than to receive but it turns out it might not just be a saying. It might be science. A study out of Simon Fraser University finds it's better to give than spend on yourself. The author of that study psychology researcher Lara Aknin joins us now to talk about her findings.

About a month ago The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) released a drone video that showed thousands of Rohingya Muslims crossing the Nad River into southern Bangladesh.
