A new study has revealed that thirty percent of British Columbians are living with diabetes. Budget airline VivaColumbia has anounced its desire to install standing room accomodation in their aircrafts. The US announced today that they're ready to take military action against North Korea, but would prefer to act through diplomacy. 

Skylar Prockner, the young man convicted of murdering 16-year-old Hannah Leflar, will be sentenced as an adult in her death.

A two week hearing was held back in May for the young girl’s killer who pleaded guilty to first degree murder last year. He was 16 at the time of the murder.

Canadian writer David Sachs’ book Tragically Hip, Twisted: Illustrated stories inspired by Hip songs grew from a longtime hobby. Collecting fifteen years of Sachs’ short stories, Tragically Hip, Twisted was published in December as a tribute to the band following their final tour and as a fundraiser for cancer research.
