Anyone who does not have a personal time with God is a timebomb; it is only a matter of time before you fall. In this sermon, Pastor Charles talks about the importance of having a personal time with God (Personal Bible Study, Personal Prayer Time, Personal Schedule for listening to the podcast, Reading Christian Literature etc). He shares that joining Moment of Hope( Pastor Charles’ Radio Program from 10pm-11pm on YT and Asaase Radio 98.5), Alpha Hour etc should NOT replace your personal time with God. They are mediums through which God empowers you for your personal time with Him! They are not replacements! Amen?🧏‍♀️

In this sermon, Pastor Charles talks about the three kinds of race we must run as believers; the race of SHINING OUR LIGHT AS BELIEVERS, SERVING GOD and the race of SOUL WINNING. Apostle Paul showed us that it is possible to work (He was a tent maker ⛺️ yet wrote 1/3rd of the New Testament !) and still have time to run the race God has set. He did not give excuses! God is expecting you to strike a balance. Let nothing separate you from the love of God. Do not be entangled with the race of this life. Be conscious of ETERNITY. Amen?🤌🏾

God has set a race before us, as believers. But, there are things that prevent us from running the race with speed. In this sermon, Pastor Charles mentions sin, distant relationship with the Holy Spirit among others as crucial things to take notice of in order to run this race with speed! Starting every journey is easy, but the same cannot be said about the end. In this sermon, Pastor Charles talks about the serpentine nature of backsliding; how subtle it is, disguised by and with hyper spirituality, “I”solation and the tendency it has to lead a once spiritual Christian to carnality. He assures each and everyone to guard their hearts by guarding their ears!👂

Using Exodus 23:25, Pastor Charles highlights the blessings that are accorded to the servants of our Good Lord. He goes on to address why many are serving God but are without blessings. The blessings of God only flow from God to You when you serve Him the way He wants you to serve Him. Half-hearted, haphazardly done acts of service do not guarantee blessings!

Serve God with your all! Serve Him well! ❤️

God is not looking at our fleet of cars, our bank account or our houses. He looks at our works because we are going to be rewarded based on our works. The Bible says that our works will follow us[Revelation 14:13], yet many Christians are rather engrossed in numerous activities to recreate many earthly treasures for themselves. What do you do for the Lord? Do you have works that will follow you? May God help us to labour for Him!🙏🏾

Peter denied Jesus because Jesus was arrested. Just like Peter, we deny Jesus several times. We refuse to acknowledge our knowledge of Him and we shy away from engagements that will involve us showing the world that we are in a relationship with Him. How sad! In this sermon, Pastor Charles encourages Christians of today to reject feeling shame around their faith! Be shameless about Jesus! Preach the Word when you are called upon to do so!
