What do you do when your friends forsake you or quit on you during difficult moments. Jesus faced the cross alone and showed his Lordship by relying on his Father

By washing the feet of his disciples, Jesus exemplified that true Lordship comes through service to all. Who may God be asking you to wash their feet?

Jesus humbled himself and embraced the cross because He knew that God's way of raising us is through Humility. God is an expert of lifting us up when we humble ourselves

Jesus never entered Jerusalem in hiding but rather confronted his enemies openly. You can never win over what you are not willing to confront

Quite often we miss out on opportunities because we have prejudiced minds on how He will visit us. The Jews missed on the Messiah because they coukd not imagine him riding to Jerusalem on a mule.

Palm Sunday reminds us the day Jesus entered Jerusalem riding on a donkey to the shouts of, "Hosannah to the King of the Jews". There before He would quite anyone who tried to unveil his identity. It was in humility and meekness exemplified through that donkey ride that Jesus was presented as the Lord of the Jews. In doing this, Jesus taught us that true Lordship is only exercised in humility and meekness.

Man has numerously tried to find his identity from various things that he institutes in his quest to find fulfilment. He installs different things as lords. We have different things that acts as idols and compete with God for lordship over our lives. unfortunately we end filling frustrated and it does not take long before God makes it clear to us that He is the only one and true Lord.

After man lost his lordship following the fall, he started inventing self made ways to recover what he had lost. The first thing our parents did was to sew for themselves fig tree leaves for covering. Every effort we make to try and help ourselves without God is similar to sewing fig tree leaves for a covering. Only in God can man find the true covering and can his lordship be restored

Man's fall at the garden of Eden made him lose his God given dominion. He rebelled against God and as a result creation rebelled against him and made him lose his lordship. Only in God can that lordship be regained

God did not only create man as a subject to be ruled but also gave him dominion over the work of his hands. Man has delegated lordship over creation that he can only exercise in God
