Warm weather fans, savor the 80° high on Friday because we are going to turn much cooler for the weekend and beyond in the wake of a cold front. We should see the first measurable rain of the month over the weekend as temperatures plunge into the low 60s for Saturday and perhaps only the mid-to-upper-50s on Sunday.

We get off to a frosty start in some spots Friday morning – a Frost Advisory is out for inland Berkeley and Dorchester counties – but we will start to warm back up from there. Highs gradually climb from the upper 60s on Friday to the low 70s on Saturday and the mid-70s by Sunday. (We could even be back into the 80s by the middle of next week!) Rain chances are very few and far between, and it looks to stay that way for the foreseeable future.

Freeze Warnings are up for the inland counties (inland Berkeley, Dorchester) as the area gets off to the coldest start since March. We warm to around 60° in the afternoon despite mostly sunny skies, so Thursday continues to very much fit the definition of a sweater weather day. A warming trend starts to kick in Friday heading into the weekend, though.
