Charlie formed Zero Store as a mobile retail set up in 2018. Noticing a local demand for eco-friendly shopping, it came out of her desire to shop in a more sustainable way. The business has now grown to several concessions in different locations, plus a flagship store in Leamington Spa. In response to the pandemic, an efficient click and collect service was set up, which has enabled the business to thrive and expand. Charlie also undertakes consultancy for others hoping to start a similar enterprise elsewhere across the country. She lives in Coventry with her husband and two young sons.
