The Wilderness Of The Soul

Jesus saw through the veil of the Laodicean Church who claimed to be rich, wealthy and have need of nothing. His assessment was that they were wretched, miserable, poor, blind and naked. Quite a sobering appraisal.

Jesus said to the woman at the well who was also in a spiritual wilderness; Jn 4:13 Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again. V14 But whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst.

Is your soul parched? Then let us call out to Him today!!!  

Indifference - The Mark Of The Endtime Church

Are we living in the end of days? A letter to the Laodicean church in the Book of Revelation were rebuked for being neither hot nor cold. This is a letter to the 7th church being representative of our time.

Is a discipleship to Christ void of any personal cost? Do the words and sentiments of sacrifice, denying oneself, counting the cost, and being faithful unto death still ring true in the modern sophisticated church? It has been said that “If there is no forsaking then there is no grabbing hold of the real, pure and the holy”!!!

God Heard Their Groaning, How Much More So Your Prayers

After 430 years in Egypt the Israelites afflicted, burdened and reduced to slave-hood groaned in their bondage and cried out to God. Scripture records that God heard their groanings.

Hannah also was in bitterness of soul and prayed to the Lord. She spoke in her heart; only her lips moved, but her voice was not heard. John Bunyan wrote almost 400 years ago “It is better to have a heart without words than to have words without a heart.”

Start a prayer life with God today. Eloquence has never been a credential that God holds high regard. 

Exciting Days Ahead.

Who knows that there are seasons in every aspect of life? In marriages, families, work careers and business and even churches. God has promised in His word while the earth remains, seedtime and harvest (seasons) shall not cease.

Ecclesiastes Chapter 3 says that He, that’s God, has made everything beautiful in its time. John Wesley, that mighty man of God, in the last hours of his life said encouragingly to his leaders “God is with us.”

When the song writer penned “You see me through the seasons.” God not only sees us with His eyes but sees us literally through every season of our lives until we see Him face to face.

There was never a day of miracles but only a God of Miracles.

What is our part in obtaining the resources of heaven in our lives?

How many times did Jesus say “according to your faith be it unto you.”

The power and resources of heaven are made available to the believer through the vehicle of faith which is our highest faculty. Was it the woman’s hand that really touched Jesus? Or did her faith which is never passive touch Jesus? And the power flowed through a legal channel to heal her body.

There Is A Friend You Can Depend

Walking with God as a friend is not dependant on perfect surroundings or circumstances. Noah, a just and perfect man and declared to be righteous, walked with God in a world which was soon to be destroyed.

Jesus is the friend who sticks closer than a brother. He is the ever present help in time of need. When passing through the waters, the rivers, through the fire and even the valley of the shadow of death; the Holy Spirit fulfills the scriptural promise when God says that I will never leave or forsake you.

There is a friend that you can depend and His name is Jesus!!!

According To Your Faith Be It Unto You

If you have no problem with becoming the devils nightmare, sicknesses greatest threat, poverty and fears eradication notice, than this message is for you.

Some of the key ingredients of Romans 10 is the Word of Faith, Confessions with your mouth, Believing In Your Heart and Calling Upon His Name.  When there is a synchronisation of these key elements, there is a power of God released that apprehends the promise of God bringing that heavenly intervention into that earthly situation.

You Cannot Stop The Blessing

In Genesis 26 In the midst of a famine, God said to Isaac “Dwell in this land, and I will be with you and bless you; …Isaac sowed in that land and reaped in the same year a hundred-fold and the Lord blessed him. 

Wherever Isaac dug, he found water, and although the Philistines were not happy, Isaac’s confession was “we shall be fruitful in the land.”

The blessing of the Lord on your life is not tied to current economic conditions. Austerity, lack and want is the fruit of the curse which believers in Christ have been set free of!
