In this episode, we dive into the remarkable journey of John Pullen, a Navy pilot whose path took unexpected turns before he found his true calling. After leaving the military, John faced the shock of 9/11, which led to the loss of his airline job and forced him to navigate a challenging job market. Transitioning into medical sales, he found himself unhappy despite settling into a new home with his family. Realizing his dissatisfaction, John took another role in the Seattle area, but it still didn't fulfill him. At 49, driven by resilience and a deep passion for flying, John reapplied to become an airline pilot. His journey, marked by perseverance and sacrifice, ultimately led him to become an international pilot, proving that with determination and following one's true passion, one can overcome significant obstacles and achieve their dreams.
