Amelia is enraptured by Chase's charm and his touch. Will she fit into his world? Or, will Chase give up everything to fit into hers?
Set in Mississippi 1886. Meet Chase Stafford. Chase inherited his mother's Comanche blood and his father's sense of humor. After receiving a wedding invitation from his brother Brock, he heads off on a train to Mississippi. Along the way, he runs into Amelia. Half asleep, he mistakes her flowing alabaster hair for that of a banshee. After starting off on the wrong foot can Chase's charm persuade her to give him another chance? Amelia's initial encounter with Chase was unsettling to say the least. The glamorous city girl was taken aback by Chase's forwardness. Nevertheless, she is bound and determined to awaken the sensations that only he can unleash.

I don't know where the others got there opinions from. I'm still trying to make myself read this story. It's very scattered and sometimes things are why over explained. Plus its over 14% or more before you get to Chase and Amelia story and you will still have a lot of insights from other characters from previous books. Then there's small switches like the horses name troy or thor I believe there was a screw up in one character's description but I was not going back to check. I wondered if I had read the 2 books before this I wouldn't be struggling so much or as frustrated, but highly doubt it. I wish I had a better way of explaining it maybe the author is still new and breaking herself in. I am going to try to read the rest because I hate leaving anything unfinished
Three stars
For some reason I'm being generous in giving this three stars; it should be two.
I tried reading this but the story is all over the place and at times makes no sense. I wasn't aware it was a sequel and there was no background before jumping right in. On top of that, the story felt like it was told backward.
After finding misused words and mix ups, I decided it wasn't worth my time to finish. I think the story could have been very good if written differently. I don't see why the description couldn't have included the fact it was a sequel or follow up.
Not for those who care about spelling, grammar ....
While the storyline was okay, the poor spelling, grammar use, and an inconsistency in the storyline at times, really ruined any chance of being able to enjoy it. I did download the book as a free offer, which is why I have given two stars. In my opinion it is not worth paying for until the author or Amazon has it proof-read and edited correctly (if it was even edited to begin with).
Digitally Swept Away
I have finished Lynn's fantastic book! What a great read! I was swept away - my hands were starting to go numb from holding my iPhone last night in bed. Ahh! Romance, lust, intrigue, bandits and heartbreak! At one point in this book I wanted to punch Lynn in the face for making me cry :D lol. Too bad that I can't jump in the book and console our poor doc. Alas.. truly excellent reading and SO worth the measly $6.99 on Amazon.
Just Awful
I read a lot of the free and inexpensive romances on the kindle. Some are good, and some are bad, and a rare few are so horrible I don't even want to finish it. This is one of those rare few.
