Unfortunately we’ve all most likely been negatively impacted by a modern day Pharisee someone who appears to be the most Holy and righteous on the outside but so hateful on the inside. They judge by appearances and not by Character. They’re in churches , family’s , friend groups they could even be your parents. But what if i told you Jesus himself couldn’t stand these people because of the hate in their hearts ?

As Christians there’s a false narrative that says that we have to be  “ perfect “ that  we don’t make mistakes that we’re so Holy and Righteous. Well , i’m a Christian with tattoos a Christian who occasionally still listens to music that a church would throw me out if i had aux a Christian that doesn’t always read their bible every night before going to sleep a Christian who’s selfish sometimes and doesn’t always love like Jesus does. A Christian with road rage. sometimes we get so caught up in looking the part of being perfect we forget that there’s only one perfect person and that’s Jesus Christ. yes i still mess up and make choices that aren’t very “ Christ like “ but God is still working on me and my heart and that isn’t an over night thing He’ll be working on my heart until the day i take my last breathe. we serve a God who forgives and loves unconditionally. don’t let some narrative of a perfect “ Christian “ turn you away from God.
