Rooney and Kroeker are here to share their first takes on Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty as the set is fully released, and Rooney starts to take the journey into figuring out how to adjust to a new and ever changing meta, while Kroeker explores some of the current events going on with Magic the Gathering.
With many new things to come in the future, the guys look at what Chasing Mythic means to them, and try to figure out how to make Magic more than just a game.

Chasing Mythic is back for 2021!
In the return of Chasing Mythic Josh and Bri talk about their house rule variant for Phase 10, a classic tabletop card game. After that they dive into the chess board to examine the similarities between Magic the Gathering and chess, and finally they finish the episode with a discussion about Historic Goblins in best-of-one Historic on Magic Arena.
In this episode we look at how Josh and Bri are tweaking their Card Wars decks and compare the play styles and cost of Card Wars to Magic the Gathering, while Bri speculates on why Josh seems to ALWAYS have more cards to sort.
After that Josh goes over his time in Arena this week playing Limited Amonkhet Remastered and Mono-Red Goblins in Historic Ranked.
