UConn women's basketball's season is (unofficially) underway. On Monday, the Huskies took the court for their first exhibition game, taking down Syracuse at Mohegan Sun Arena. After getting our first real look at this year's team, we break down the top performers – from Jovana Popovic and Olivia Vukosa to the seniors – get into what caught our eye (24 free throw attempts!!!), and preview the upcoming matchup with Texas.

UConn’s season is over. Despite entering the Final Four on a 54-game winning streak, the Huskies went down at the hands of South Carolina in the national semifinal.
