We're talking about why we do this podcast and investigations. For one, there's unfortunately still a stigma attached to these topics, be it ghosts, UFO/UAP, cryptids, etc., and we're trying to get people to be more comfortable with them. When people find out what we do, many times they open up to us. We're talking complete strangers who open up to us about their experiences. Amazing really.

James came back to visit with us, (he may end up on the payroll when we start making money). The man really likes cryptids. He's going to tell us all about Skinwalkers including a bit about the famous SkinWalker Ranch. That place has some stuff going on! Really curious about the mesa and the Triangle area. Guess we will have to wait until they figure it out. We discuss Native American lore about the Skinwalker and the different types from each tribe. Apparently, they're common to many of the tribes with different names and possibly different traits.

Welcome back to the chase.

We went to a local winery that is rather haunted. This place has a lot of activity. It was originally a plantation built in 1837 by the Southhall family. On the grounds are unmarked graves of the slaves, possibly unmarked graves of soldiers, a former jail cell in the basement of the house, and at one point was used as a field hospital for the Battle of Sailors Creek. The Battle of Sailors Creek was fought about 4 miles from the property. There is still a large blood stain on the floor of the room used as the surgery. The story is a Union officer bled out on the floor in that spot. General Lee had dinner there before he surrendered. With all the trauma that took place there, unmarked graves and such, there are some restless spirits there and unexplained occurrences.

For 2 of us who grew up in Louisiana, we heard about her most of our life. She was an influencer and of course, with fame, she had her haters. She was a free woman of color who was a hairdresser with a wealthy, white clientele. Needless to say, she heard a lot of gossip whilst working and she used that to her advantage.

Welcome back! Notice the name change. We added a new member and changed the name to something more fitting.

Richmond, VA is full of Civil War sites. It was the capital of the Confederacy and many battles were fought near it. With battles come hospitals and casualties. We visited this small cemetery south of Richmond and were not disappointed. It was a hot spot. We concluded that many of these men and or women just want their stories told, they want to be known, not be forgotten. I found a list of known burials and need to do a bit of research to see if I can find out anything about them.
