Story Transcript:

Hr: Na Mljetu je mirisalo na proljeće.
En: On Mljet there was the scent of spring.

Hr: Sunčana Uvala na otoku Mali Lošinj bila je savršena pozornica za Ana i Ivana.
En: Sunčana Uvala on the island of Mali Lošinj was the perfect stage for Ana and Ivan.

Hr: Zelenilo je bilo svuda, a more je svjetlucalo na suncu.
En: Greenery was everywhere, and the sea shimmered in the sun.

Hr: Zrak je bio pun svježine, miris borova je bio snažan, a valovi su se tiho lomili o obalu.
En: The air was full of freshness, the scent of pines was strong, and the waves quietly broke against the shore.

Hr: Ana i Ivan hodali su stazom uz obalu.
En: Ana and Ivan walked along the path by the coast.

Hr: Ana je bila odlučna da dođu do vrha brda do zalaska sunca.
En: Ana was determined to reach the top of the hill by sunset.

Hr: Ivan, njezin prijatelj iz Zagreba, pratio ju je i brinuo se da je sve u redu.
En: Ivan, her friend from Zagreb, followed her and made sure everything was okay.

Hr: "Bližimo se vrhu," rekla je Ana gledajući prema nebu koje je već mijenjalo boje.
En: "We're getting closer to the top," said Ana looking at the sky that was already changing colors.

Hr: Ivan je gledao nju i primijetio umor u njezinom disanju.
En: Ivan looked at her and noticed the fatigue in her breath.

Hr: "Ana, jesi li dobro?
En: "Ana, are you okay?"

Hr: " upitao je.
En: he asked.

Hr: Ana se nasmiješila, ali njezin osmijeh bio je umoran.
En: Ana smiled, but her smile was tired.

Hr: "Dobro sam.
En: "I'm fine.

Hr: Samo malo zadihana," odgovorila je.
En: Just a little short of breath," she replied.

Hr: Međutim, Ivan je primijetio kako Ana usporava hod.
En: However, Ivan noticed how Ana was slowing down.

Hr: Nakon nekoliko minuta, Ana je morala stati i pritisnuti ruku na prsa, pokušavajući uhvatiti zrak.
En: After a few minutes, Ana had to stop and press her hand against her chest, trying to catch her breath.

Hr: Ivan se odmah zabrinuo.
En: Ivan immediately became concerned.

Hr: "Ana, moramo stati.
En: "Ana, we need to stop.

Hr: Uzmi inhalator," rekao je.
En: Use the inhaler," he said.

Hr: Ali Ana je bila ustrajna, no na kraju se složila.
En: But Ana was persistent, though she eventually agreed.

Hr: "Dobro, ali ne želim propustiti zalazak sunca," rekla je tiho.
En: "Okay, but I don't want to miss the sunset," she said quietly.

Hr: Sjela je na mali kamen pokraj staze i uzela inhalator iz ruksaka.
En: She sat on a small rock by the path and took an inhaler from her backpack.

Hr: Pogledala je prema moru, a Ivan je sjeo pored nje.
En: She looked towards the sea, and Ivan sat beside her.

Hr: Kako je sunce počelo nestajati iza horizonta, Ana je polagano udisala.
En: As the sun began to disappear behind the horizon, Ana inhaled slowly.

Hr: "Zadivljujuće je, zar ne?
En: "It's amazing, isn't it?"

Hr: " rekla je, gledajući prema moru.
En: she said, looking at the sea.

Hr: Ivan je klimnuo.
En: Ivan nodded.

Hr: "Ljepše je kad si ovdje," rekao je.
En: "It's more beautiful when you're here," he said.

Hr: Zajedno su sjedili u tišini, gledajući kako dan prelazi u noć.
En: Together they sat in silence, watching the day turn into night.

Hr: Ana se uspela na vrh svog osobnog brda - prihvatila pomoć kad je trebala i naučila slušati svoje tijelo.
En: Ana had climbed to the top of her personal mountain - she accepted help when she needed it and learned to listen to her body.

Hr: "Zahvalna sam što si ovdje," rekla je Ana.
En: "I'm grateful that you're here," said Ana.

Hr: Ivan ju je pogledao, sretan što su imali taj trenutak.
En: Ivan looked at her, happy that they had this moment.
