In this episode of Chasing the Insights, I talk to Rohanna Doylida.
Rohanna talks to us about the "beginner again" feeling and why it happens.
Rohanna Doylida is a brand strategist for second-career women, the founder of the TrueVoice Brand Mentorship, and creator of The Wisdom Bridge Method—a transformational framework that helps accomplished women stop apologizing for their "scattered" career paths and start positioning them as their greatest competitive advantages.
With a background as rich and varied as performing for thousands over ten years on Chicago stages, launching a gluten- and dairy-free bakery with no prior business experience (just determination and her son's Celiac diagnosis as motivation), and teaching preschool for nearly a decade, Rohanna brings a soul-deep understanding of human connection, storytelling, and reinvention. She's lived the journey she teaches—navigating multiple career transitions while raising three children and building businesses that matter.
After 30 years of wearing different hats, Rohanna discovered something most career experts miss: accomplished women don't need more credentials or skills. They need new language. They need to see their diverse backgrounds as proof of capability, not evidence of indecision. They need someone who's actually lived through multiple reinventions—not just studied them.
That realization led to the creation of The Wisdom Bridge, a systematic approach that connects past experience to present value. Through her mentorship program, Rohanna helps women transform "I used to be..." into "I help..." She teaches them to walk into networking events, client conversations, and LinkedIn profiles with grounded confidence instead of apologetic explanations.
Rohanna addresses the real emotional and strategic challenges women face when starting something new in their 40s, 50s, or 60s—from imposter syndrome and self-doubt to building a brand that feels authentically aligned with who they are. Her approach is refreshingly honest: she acknowledges the fear while providing concrete tools to move through it.
Rohanna lives in the Chicago area, where she continues to mentor second-career women while proving that reinvention isn't about starting over—it's about building on everything you've already become. When she's not helping women claim their expertise, she's probably thinking about her next career pivot (just kidding—she's finally found her calling).
