As an empathic, intuitive, and highly sensitive person, she could feel the pain and suffering of the world around her in such a deep and visceral way that it was heartbreaking and life changing.

In her efforts to desperately try and "fix" the pain of others, she grossly neglected her own pain and well-being, and little by little, her life began to unravel and fall apart.

It took Janna decades to recover from her desire to save others and her pain showed up in big ways from silencing her voice, to being in toxic relationships, to working in toxic careers all while exploring the grips of PTSD, Burnout, and Trauma. Her desire to feel safe and do whatever it took to "survive" while keeping the love and approval of others became a powerful yet toxic driving force in her life.

It wasn't until almost losing her own life in 2018 from a traumatic accident and experiencing a life-changing spiritual awakening that she began to find slowly find herself again amidst the darkness.

After that experience, her life was forever changed and she started writing, speaking, and sharing her message of love, hope, survival, and triumph with the world.
