Heather is also the founder of the Lucky Few Foundation, a national Down syndrome advocacy organization. Our guests today is Kat Armstrong. Kat - is a powerful voice in our generation as a sought-after Bible teacher, preacher, coach, and innovative ministry leader. She holds a master’s degree from Dallas Theological Seminary and is the author of No More Holding Back, The In-Between Place, and a 6-book series called Storyline Bible Studies. She has her own podcast – The Polished Podcast. 

Kat is the director of leadership processes for Integrus Leadership, is pursuing a doctorate of ministry in New Testament context at Northern Seminary, and serves as a board member of Pillar Seminary. 

She and her husband, Aaron, have been married for twenty years and live in Dallas, Texas, with their son, Caleb, and attend Dallas Bible Church, where Aaron serves as the lead pastor.

This week we welcome Bob Johns.  Bob is a lifelong youth pastor, serving at his present church – First Baptist Woodway since 1984.  Bob just completed his book “They Say I’m Crazy. – which about going the distance in Youth Ministry. Bob has also written articles, curriculum, and devotional material for a number of various publications.  

He is married to Debbie – and they have one daughter – Hannah.  Bob loves golf, skiing, reading, playing his Gibson J-45 and making trips with Debbie to New York City to visit Hannah.

Our guest today is Mark Houser - Mark has spent his career in the energy industry, most recently as the founder and principal of Symphero Energy Solutions, LLC, an advisory services company in the oil and gas and renewable energy development markets.

Mark currently serves on the Investment Committee for a privately held oil and gas investment firm. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Houston Methodist Hospital System and is a member of the Board of Stewards of Chapelwood United Methodist Church. He also serves on the Board of Directors of The Restoration Team – which we hope to learn more about in today’s show.

Mark Houser has been married to his wife Lou for 38 years. They have 4 married daughters and 9 grandchildren. 

Mark says he enjoys spending time with his family and friends at their ranch in South Texas, watching any sort of volleyball match available and following Texas A&M Athletics.

Megan is the CEO of the popular online shop, Scarlet & Gold, the author of Give Grace, and the creator of the Overcome Journal. She grew up as a pastor's kid, and while the foundation of faith she was given is so important, it's the fires she's faced that have refined her heart and given her an unshakeable faith.

Megan walked a hard road in pursuit of her lifelong dream to have children, and she's now Mom to three boys, who she affectionately calls "The Bad Business Club." Megan's journey to motherhood is only one piece of her story that's given her an important voice in the space of learning to overcome the hard stuff. She encourages women to overcome trials in their own lives and to give and receive grace in the process through her speaking, writing, and inspirational products.

She lives in Alabama, ten hours away from her home state of Texas, where she and her husband Blake, a basketball coach, raise their young boys, twins Stisher and Eli and little baby James.

Our guest today is Brian Townley.  Brian - began a 26 year banking career at The National Banks of Central Texas which later became (NationalUnited), where he served as a Senior Vice President. There he began to help other banking executives discover their talents and motivation.  Soon he began doing it on an international stage. Brian has published leadership training videos – as well as authored 3 books on Leadership. Brian still speaks to a wide variety of audiences – and now in a partner in a real estate firm,  In his spare time, he still supports his local community and gives back to ministries and organizations than make a difference.
