The owner of The Dryer, Andrew, joins ChatKTX to share how he’s bringing one of Katy’s most historic landmarks back to life.

Built in 1943, The Dryer is known as the first concrete rice dryer in Texas, and Andrew is transforming it into a place where Katy locals and visitors can grab a drink, enjoy food, hang out, and come together for community events.

From restoring and painting the building to creating a new gathering space for Katy, Andrew is helping preserve history while building something exciting for the future.
