In my attempt to unravel and understand more about mental health and wellness, I reached out to speak to Dr Saliha, CEO and Founder of Lighthouse Arabia in Dubai, UAE’s leading mental health and wellness clinic.

We had this amazing conversation about mental health- how different people deal with it, how we deal with it as parents, peer pressure, societal expectations, and so much more. Trust me when I say I could have gone on and on talking to her to understand more about self-love and care and decipher the different phases of life. This week on Chat Me Up with Tauhee is Pooja Srinivasa Raja, director at Ananda Adayar Bhavan, one of the largest and most successful chains of restaurants in South India. In this podcast, we talk about her conflicts with mental health. As surprising as it may seem, with a flawless life at the outset, we discuss the issues and mental struggles she went through.

Today she is also the founder of the Transfomind and Neoparenting online platforms, offering support to people who are struggling with mental health issues; taking her experiences into account, and trying to make sure nobody else goes through the same. We discuss the struggles we have both been through in a very judgmental, patriarchal society and the aftermath of it all.
