Welcome back to the CWT podcast and the final episode of Season 2! (Stay tuned for Season 3!)
In today’s episode, I discuss how we cannot help people who do not want to help themselves. By constantly intervening and trying to 'fix' people's situation, we:
1- Stop others from experiencing their karma or learning their lesson.
2- leave room for our intervention to potentially backfires on us.
When people aren’t open to receiving our help or taking our advice, that is when we take note. We withdraw that energy and pour it into ourselves instead. We are not anyone’s designated Savior or Messiah. That is not our job, not our title.
Withdrawing your time and energy from others DOES NOT make you selfish, or a bad person. It shows you are aware of others’ self undoing behavior and want to give them the autonomy to make their own decisions!
I also speak on my projection, just because I think it would be the best or smart choice, doesn’t mean it would be the best or smart choice for them. We have to let people live their lives without hijacking their decision making. Establish boundaries, so that people can stop being so dependent on you. Everyone has a life of their own, lessons to learn and things to experience.
Thank you for tuning in tonight and thank you for your unwavering support! That's a wrap for Season 2! Stay tuned for Season 3 of the CWT Podcast :)

Today we chat about what to do when a man prioritizes lust over genuine connection. While physical attraction is a normal and healthy part of relationships, there’s a difference between being desired for who you are versus being objectified for how you make someone feel.
It’s empowering to know your worth and to distinguish between genuine affection and fleeting desire. Understanding these dynamics helps you build stronger, more fulfilling relationships that honor your full self – not just the surface level. Never settle!
Thank you for tuning in tonight. I would love for you to engage in some meaningful reflection in regard to today’s episode:
Reflect on your past or current relationships: Are they built on respect, shared values, and mutual growth, or are they focused on physical attraction?

Is it Colorism or a Preference? Is it still a 'preference' when you date someone based on skin tone before getting to know them? Kristen (Creator of 'What Are You Growing Thru') joined me for a chat on Colorism and Texturism within the Black community. We also spoke about the 'Good Hair' debate, Brainwash mentality, and Anti-black rhetoric.
So often as Black Woman, we are held to a higher standard when it comes to our appearances, ESPECIALLY with our hair. Wear a bonnet? Ghetto. Wear your natural hair? Some people question whether it's ‘done’ or not. And if you are Black, and you don’t have coarse hair, people question your Blackness and assume you are 'mixed'.
We also discuss...
