Joel is the pastor of my church and has been for nearly 8 years. It means a lot to me that he was willing to sit down and chat about Vineland FRC, how he writes sermons, and what his journey into ministry looked like. I seriously loved this chat and I learned a lot. Blaise is a speaker, writer, and musician with a masters in Catholic Theology from The University of Toronto and is the Eastern Outreach Director for CCBR. I met Blaise at a friend’s baptism and I thoroughly enjoyed talking with him. I’ve felt for a while that my understanding of Catholicism is fairly dismal, so I thought I’d reach out to Blaise to see if he wanted to talk through Catholicism and Protestantism. I’m really glad we did.

Scott works for Word and Deed in Project Management and PR. We chatted about a wide range of topics like missions, “christian life” and fighting for humility. He is an incredibly thoughtful dude and I have a lot of respect for his “eating on 2 dollars a day” challenge.

One minor correction to the podcast is that around 689 million people live on less than 2 dollars a day, not 3.8 billion as we discussed.

I sat down with the team that biked 512ks in 29 hours to raise money for the Nakekela AIDS clinic in South Africa. We talked about how we all got involved, how we trained, fundraising, a little bit about the actual clinic, and the highs and lows of the 30 hours we biked. This was a ton of run to record and I loved talking through the experience with the guys.
