  • You Have All You Need To Share Jesus

Do not despise your upbringing or experience with God. Sharing Christ with others is not about you but it's about HIM. Don't see results but simply seek to honor Jesus by being faithful with where you are and what you have. God can use any of it for His glory.

    Acts 4:13 ESV

13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated, common men, they were astonished. And they recognized that they had been with Jesus

  • Make The Best Use of Today

My goal is to help you find ways to faithfully follow Jesus and enjoy life in your everyday moments. Today's verse looks at time in a larger perspective than just your daily devotional life. It's about a larger view of time and perspective of impact. Take account of how your life is being led and ask yourself if it's working towards life for the Kingdom of God because the days are fading. Make your impact. Love people. Keep the Gospel at the forefront of your mind and your day.

    Ephesians 5:15-17 ESV

15 Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the best use of the time, because the days are evil. 17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

  • Take Heart

Even in the darkest and worrisome of times, we can be reminded of God's presence. Alongside his presence is the fact that his son, Jesus, has overcome the world. This same world that gives troubles and worries has been overcome by our Savior. Take heart. He is with you.

    John 16:33 ESV

33 I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.

Hillsong United: Take Heart Lyrics (bridge only)

All our troubles and all our tears

God our hope He has overcome
All our failure and all our fear
God our love He has overcome

All our heartache and all our pain

God our healer He has overcome
All our burdens and all our shame
God our freedom He has overcome

God our justice God our grace

God our freedom He has overcome
God our refuge God our strength
God is with us He has overcome

  • Forgiving is Hard and Ugly but it is Freeing

The act of forgiveness is not about forgetting. It's about releasing yourself from the self-inflicting paralyzation that unforgiveness can put on us. Forgiving as Christ has forgiven cannot truly be done on our own. Verse 12 reminds us of a few things we can 'put on' in order to forgive as God has.

    Colossians 3:12-13 ESV

12 Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, 13 bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.

  • What Does Building Your House On The Rock Mean?

I'm not in any form of construction but I think it's important to learn how to build your life upon Chris, the solid rock. Matthew 5, 6, and 7 are full of to-dos as Christians. It's not a list to accomplish in order to succeed and attain salvation but it is words of wisdom for those who are choosing to follow Jesus.

    Matthew 7:24-27

24 “Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. 26 And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. 27 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it.”

  • He Is With You and He Will Be With You
I believe it matters more for you to know who and where God is. Our strength and abilities are very limited but God’s grace is more than enough. Don’t worry about the results of what God is going to do with your life, be more mindful of your attitude about His presence in your life.
    Judges‬ ‭6:12-18‬ ‭ESV
“And the angel of the Lord appeared to him and said to him, “The Lord is with you, O mighty man of valor.” And Gideon said to him, “Please, my lord, if the Lord is with us, why then has all this happened to us? And where are all his wonderful deeds that our fathers recounted to us, saying, ‘Did not the Lord bring us up from Egypt?’ But now the Lord has forsaken us and given us into the hand of Midian.” And the Lord turned to him and said, “Go in this might of yours and save Israel from the hand of Midian; do not I send you?” And he said to him, “Please, Lord, how can I save Israel? Behold, my clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father’s house.” And the Lord said to him, “But I will be with you, and you shall strike the Midianites as one man.” And he said to him, “If now I have found favor in your eyes, then show me a sign that it is you who speak with me. Please do not depart from here until I come to you and bring out my present and set it before you.” And he said, “I will stay till you return.””

  • The Lord is Your Rock, Trust That

How do you approach God in the middle or just after a tough moment? This Psalm of David allows us to take a different perspective about how we can see God as our protector. His mercy can cover sins but also bring about spiritual and emotional support for your soul. Thank Him and trust Him.

    Psalms 18:1-2

I love you, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.

  • Has the Church Hurt You? God Still Loves You!

If you're listening to this, you probably still have some sort of faith in God. I'm cheering for you. This Scripture reminds us that the lack of integrity in others does not mean God is less faithful or true. Hold close to God and have a healthy perspective of the flaw and sins in other people, even yourself. Keep faith in God and not in man. We will fail but God never will.

    Romans 3:1-4

'Then what advantage has the Jew? Or what is the value of circumcision? Much in every way. To begin with, the Jews were entrusted with the oracles of God. What if some were unfaithful? Does their faithlessness nullify the faithfulness of God? By no means! Let God be true though everyone were a liar, as it is written, “That you may be justified in your words, and prevail when you are judged.” '

  • Be Faithful With What You Have

Many frustrations in life are over not having enough. Maybe you're frustrated because of the lack of money, responsibility, or time. These things should not be coveted but they should be well accounted for. Being faithful with what you have is one part stewardship and another part thankful. Use what you have and enjoy what you have.

    Luke 16:10

One who is faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much.

  • Be Imitators with Faith and Patience

The promises of God are many and come to fruition because of Christ's work on the cross and not your own effort. But although we are not working for these promises, much of our life can be waiting upon these promises. Your storm today is not the end of what God is doing. Hold on, be faithful and be patient. I'm waiting alongside of you.

    Hebrews 6:11-12

11 And we desire each one of you to show the same earnestness to have the full assurance of hope until the end, 12 so that you may not be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
