I began doing small things for myself to make my life feel more romantic. Whether you have a boo or not, adding some romance into your life will make you feel just that bit softer.

Balancing life realities

Let me tell you about a romance that may shock you. It deffinetely shocked me. These two love birds did long distance for 2 years after only meeting eachother a month prior. SO unheard of and I'm all for it.

Soooo I have been gone for a little bit of time, and here is why!

After a little two week break, I think I'm officially back to being myself, and I think that is because of clarity! I have gotten clarity in my life and it feels great to be able to move to better things! And what better way to welcome me back to normalcy than having Valentines Day next week! This week I have realised that vulnerability and the act of being vulnerable is not a bad thing. Sometimes we think it is because perhaps after we have been vulnerable it may nit have worked out for the best for us. But if instead we see that being vulnerable helped us be open to new experiences and adventures and feelings which being closed would have never granted us we may see that being vulnerable is a blessing that many people find hard to achieve and is huge blessing.

A lot of the time we would like to hope that we are able to leave the bad in the year before and jump into the new year with a new beginning. But this can't always be done and that's okay! You still have January to declutter all you need to and should have thrown away to continue the rest off the year fresh!

Yesterday I woke up and the first thing I saw was Maria's instagram story where she spoke on her experience of being added into a group chat which after some scrolls she realised was filled with crude and rude language towards women. After having 24 hours to think about my experience in such a situation and having heard a number of others experience, I think it's something we should talk about. If you have experienced this behaviour and you did or did not do anything about it I would appreciate hearing your experience.

COVID-19 had such a huge effect on everyone around the world, some more than others. However it's still spoken in such hush tones every though it's the loudest thing to have hit us, we literally can not escape it!. I think talking about it should be normalised, so this is my experience on getting tested!
