Freedom Friday will be a random Friday on any giving week dealing on a 1 word focus pertaining to where we may be in that week. For this week perseverance is key. When the cares of the world try to boggle us down we have to continue to persevere and push forward knowing that God has our backs.

The final part in our first mini series “Overcoming Addiction”. Here are some steps in order to execute the freedom that you already have in Christ. These steps are to help you overcome those addictions and truly walk in the deliverance that is right in front of you.

Transparency is really essential from those of us who profess to be living for Christ. People need to see that God is able to help us in whatever situation or struggle we have. So, here’s one last testimony for this mini series before our final episode next week.

Another real life testimony. An example of transparency at its finest. Getting a glimpse first hand of the power of addiction and the greater power of Christ being able to deliver you from it.

This is part 2 of our five part mini series “Overcoming Addiction”. For the next three weeks you’ll be able to listen to and witness some real life addictions that leaders have had to deal with while being in the church or before they accepted their callings.

Sometimes we don’t even realize what consumes most of our attention, and we often times don’t realize we made that thing as an idol and icon over God himself. We turned a one time thrill and/or activity into a addiction.

A lot of times in life we may get discouraged on long it takes us to accomplish our goals and dreams; don’t be dismayed, because the process is what shapes and molds you into what God wants you to be.

Prayer is a very strong tool that we need to use in our walk everyday with Christ. Prayer allows us to commune with our Father and allows us to speak with Him about the cares of the life, desires we have, and things we want to be done. So remember to pray always, in everything you do.

Going through life a lot of times we want things just given to us; whether that be the goals we have, dream jobs we want, or things we desire. You have to remember that everything has a beginning and there’s a start to every great successful person in the world. How will you begin?
