Hour 1 – Ed Kalegi talks with Rebecca Lafferty. Rebecca carried the scars of her traumatic upbringing through childhood and into adulthood. But most of all, she carried the horror of learning about the cold-blooded murder of her aunt and infant cousin in 1984, perpetrated by her father Dan and uncle Ron according to a revelation Ron had received. She talks about it and her journey in her new memoir: “The Lafferty Girl: Surviving Trauma, Abuse, and My Father’s Crimes.” Plus, Ed talks with author Jennifer O’Callaghan about her new book: “Rear Window: The Making of a Hitchcock Masterpiece in the Hollywood Golden Age.” And Ed and Caryn each confess their worst fashion blunders. Ed’s severely impacted his love-life. Caryn’s ended up being featured in the National Enquirer.
Hour 2 – Ed Kalegi and Caryn Richman each reveal which foods they do not like and, in some cases, find completely repulsive. Ed talks with filmmaker Deborah Correa about her new film “The War Between.” It is April 1862, the Arizona territory during the opening months of the American Civil War and two enemy soldiers must cooperate to survive because they are stranded in the Sonoran Desert. Ed also chats with record executive Derek Shulman, who signed and developed artists including Bon Jovi, Dream Theater, Slipknot, Pantera, and Men Without Hats and was the frontman of the band Gentle Giant, about his new book: “Giant Steps: My Improbable Journey from Stage Lights to Executive Heights.” And Ed Kalegi and Caryn Richman talk about their favorite toys of all all-time.

Plus, Actor Michael Chiklis discusses his latest role in the film “The Senior,” a true story about a 59-year-old man who returns to play college football one final time. and author J.L. Spears joins the show to talk about his new technothriller “Daemon Protocol”, which deals with AI that becomes overreaching while tightening its grip on the world. Also, Ed and Caryn talk about procrastination. Ed preps for guests days in advance while Caryn needs to search the trash can for old K-Cups because she puts off buying coffee.
Hour 2 – Ed talks with writer, producer, author, actress and businesswoman Brande Roderick about the innovative Ring My Belle service as well as her new film “Wineville” and with actress Larissa Dali about her new film “Deadly Escape”. Plus, Ed and Caryn talk about things of which they each have way too many. Caryn has way too many shoes and Ed buys too many body sprays, yet always smells like an Amber Sunset. And Caryn then becomes a speech therapist and teaches Ed how to properly pronounce the word cashew.
Bonus Podcast Episode: Ed Kalegi and Caryn Richman talk with Tami Eagle Bowling and Maryann Mazellan, who are both Stage 4 Metastatic Breast Cancer “Thrivers”. Hour 2 – Ed and Caryn talk about the weird things each of them do when alone. It turns out Ed ended up going further down Weird Street than Caryn, Plus they discuss things we were never taught in school, such as basic financial literacy, but maybe we should have been. We also learn that Ed made and sewed a pillow shaped like a skateboard in seventh grade. And Ed talks with author P Moss about his new historical novel: “Screwing Sinatra" and author Cindy Fazzi about her two new books in her Domingo the Bounty Hunter series: “Danger No Problem” and “Sunday or the Highway.”

Plus Ed and Caryn reveal their favorite cartoon characters and Caryn realizes Ed knows way too much about “The Flintstones.”
