Monica is a tech executive with a strong background in healthcare, public health, and growth strategy. She started her career on the provider side of healthcare, working on growth initiatives for one of the nation’s largest integrated delivery networks at Highmark Health. Shortly after, she entered the tech space through a lead go-to-market role for a fast growing healthtech startup, launching her career in scaling high growth B2B tech SaaS companies. I wanted to chat with Monica because it's not common to find a woman of leadership in both tech and public health, especially one that embraces femininity in her leadership at HiLabs! A driving force behind her career progression and success is her desire to empower women in public health, leadership, and technology. She is a trailblazer in these fields and cares deeply about sharing her story so that other women can succeed.

As someone who strives to be a social entrepreneur or someone who just wants to help the world and give back, I've always been very interested in the world of nonprofits. I never had such a good and deep conversation about nonprofits until today! Welcome Breanna Lashell, a nonprofit coach! She founded and ran a nonprofit at the age of 16 called Speak Love and has been on many nonprofits since then! We dive deep into starting and running a nonprofit, the misconceptions, how funding works, the difference between a nonprofit and b-corp, and the constant struggle of serving the business vs. serving the mission!
I've never interviewed a woman in the security domain, so when I heard about Nadine, I had to interview her! Security is something we all know we should care about and do, so today we peel back the layers with her experience as an ex-security consultant at Capgemini, navigating the security world, and being a CISO at Zivver, a secure email platform! Zivver sells a secure email solution that helps to better protect sensitive data and to prevent human mistakes like sending an email to the wrong person. We are a Dutch company with over 8000 customers within and outside the Netherlands.
We've never had a pharma guest before, but Randi Roberts is an ex-pharma executive, and it's pretty hard to find a female pharma executive! We had a lot to learn from her, and from her own journey, she tells us how to find satisfaction within your job (or outside) but also her biggest tips on advocating yourself to advance in your career.

Ramona Shaw is a certified professional leadership coach, podcast host and an author! I dove in deep with her to learn about her perspective on leadership and very interesting situations mid-level managers can find themselves in and her advice on how to approach them such as if an individual contributor made a racist or sexist comment, what should you do? She is passionate about helping new and mid-level managers become leaders people love to work for by strengthening their leadership and communication skills, raising their confidence and resilience, and increasing their focus and emotional intelligence. She now specializes in delivering coaching and training programs for leaders at fast-growing startups and companies such as Twitch, UBS, Google, Dropbox, Lionsgate, Asana, Stitch Fix, Sequoia Capital, and dozens of others.

I love chatting with founders of social enterprises, and in this case, it is Brooke McKean, the cofounder and co-CEO of Reach Pathways and President of Chicago Scholars! Reach Pathways is a virtual world for students to build skills while showing off their marketable skills to employers and universities which serves as a great double sided market! I chat through Brooke's experience as a female cofounder as well as her journey with both Reach Pathways and Chicago Scholars.
